How it all started...
In November 2020 Pastors Paul Bailey and Joshua Brown, with a hand full of families, were officially sent out of Pillar Church of Jacksonville, NC to plant Pillar Church of Topsail. We constituted as an autonomous church in 2021. Pastor Joshua retired from the Marine Corps in 2022 and since then has been able to commit to full time ministry. The common saying during the beginning stages was "God is building this plane as we are flying it"
Expanding the vision...
The Lord has expanded faster and further than we could have imagined in the last couple years. Our Life Groups (Bible studies) throughout the week have multiplied. Leaders have been trained. And we sent out our first church plant in 2024 to form Pillar Church of Fayetteville.
Where we are headed...
Our desire is to continue to Plant, Grow, and Partner.
Planting - We want to plant new churches.
Growing - We want to grow stronger. God does grow His church, and we want Him to add to His Kingdom in our community. We also pray that there is a Spiritual growth in Christ among the members of Pillar Church.
Partnering – We want to partner with other gospel-centered churches to better spread the gospel and establish churches in places where Christ is not yet known.
