Paul Bailey
Paul currently serves as an active-duty Marine and loves ministering in a military community. He enjoys discipleship, preaching, and helping lead Pillar Church of Topsail as part of a plurality of elders. He also has a passion for youth ministry, deeply studying the Bible, and following God’s leading in the adventure of life. Paul and his wife, Aimeé have been a part of the Praetorian Project since 2014, and God has blessed the Bailey family with five children.
Joshua Brown
Joshua is a retired Marine with a passion for knowing Jesus and making Him known through serving the military community and their families. He loves discipling young married couples, building community, reaching the lost, practicing hospitality, and preaching the Word of God. Joshua and his family have been a part of the Praetorian Project since 2017. He and His wife Brittany, along with their 3 children, stepped out in faith to take part in the church planting efforts to launch Pillar Topsail, late in the Summer of 2020.
John Rudd
John is an active-duty Marine who has been discipling his fellow service members for the majority of his career. His ministry interests include preaching and teaching, discipleship, men’s and family ministry, and serving in the local church. John and his wife Tammy have three children. They homeschool their children, love the outdoors, and look forward to retirement from military service. They joined the Praetorian Project via Pillar Topsail in 2023.
Avery Francis
Avery currently serves as an Active-duty Marine and has been a member at Pillar Topsail Since November of 2022. He loves to study the Bible and has a heart to serve the church community in any way he can. Avery and his wife Kimmie got married in October of 2024. They enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it is hiking or walking on the beach, and spending time with friends.

Matt and Tiffany Manning
Matt retired from the Coast Guard in 2024 and has made Onslow County his home, where he continues to pursue his passion for serving others. His wife, Tiffany, is a high school teacher who inspires her students by demonstrating the evidence of God’s hand in creation through the lens of science. Together with their two children, Reagan and Mason, they began attending Pillar of Church of Topsail in the spring of 2022, driven by a shared commitment to serve their community and spread the love of Christ.
